VfB Stuttgart youngster Mateo Klimowicz has been approached by the German Football Association (DFB) about representing them at international level, according to Kicker.

A call-up to Germany's U21s could be on the card for Klimowicz, who holds both Argentine and German citizenship.

The 20-year-old – the son of former Bundesliga star Diego Klimowicz – hasn't represented Argentina at youth level.

Additionally, Kicker is reporting that his Stuttgart teammates Marc-Oliver Kempf and Waldemar Anton have come on the radar of the DFB as well.

The two centre-backs have emerged as candidates to represent Germany at senior level, as per the report.
