Augustinsson close to Spain move

Reports today have suggested that Werder Bremen and Sweden left-back Ludwig Augustinsson is edging closer to a move to Spanish side Sevilla.
According to Swedish newspaper Expressen, Sevilla have lodged a €5m bid for the left-back which Werder have yet to accept or reject.

The report also mentions that Augustinsson and his agent Hasan Cetinkaya would be prepared to fly out to Spain should the 2 clubs agree on a fee that works for all parties.

The 27-year-old left-back has previously addressed speculation over his future at the Weserstadion, speaking at a press conference during the Euros while on duty with Sweden.

Werder Bremen have previously had offers from other European clubs for their Swedish left-back, including one from Turkish giants Galatasaray. But Werder rejected those advances

Augustinsson joined Werder Bremen from Danish giants FC Copenhagen and has made almost 100 appearances for Die Grün-Weißen.
