Germany will have to manage without Nico Schlotterbeck when they face Luxembourg in a World Cup qualifier on Friday, Bild reports.
The Dortmund centre-back took a blow to his foot during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Hamburger SV and has been unable to train since.
With Schlotterbeck sidelined, his BVB teammate Waldemar Anton is expected to partner Jonathan Tah in central defence.
There is still hope that Schlotterbeck could be available when Julian Nagelsmann’s side take on Slovakia on Monday.
In addition to Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi will miss out on Friday, as he's suspended.
