SC Paderborn completed their next transfer as Germany youth international Deniz Zeitler signed on loan from TSG Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old scored 15 3. Liga goals for Hoffenheim II last season.
Zeitler joined Hoffenheim last summer after his 3. Liga breakthrough in the 2024/25 season with Ingolstadt. He could face his parent club on matchday 4 when Paderborn host Hoffenheim on September 20th.
Meanwhile, Paderborn are now plotting another loan deal as fellow Germany U20 international Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is linked with the club. Kicker reported that the newly-promoted side turned their attention to a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s 20-year-old attacker.
Alfa-Ruprecht will have better chances of playing more minutes at Paderborn. The Hamburg-native spent last season on loan at 2. Bundesliga club VfL Bochum.
