Bilal El Khannouss is heading to the Bundesliga after a summer transfer window that saw him linked with many clubs across Europe. The Moroccan international will join VfB Stuttgart from last season’s Premier League club Leicester City on an initial loan deal.

Sky report that the two clubs reached a total agreement with Stuttgart holding the rights for an “option to buy” for €25 million, including add-ons. El Khannouss is already in Stuttgart to complete the move.

Leicester City had a difficult second half of the season under the former Hamburg striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, but El Khannouss’ performances have drawn plenty of interest from Europe’s top leagues. The midfielder was also a key part of Morocco’s team that won bronze in last year’s Paris Olympics.
