According to Sport BILD, initial decisions have now been made regarding the futures of two players at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Center-back Marvin Friedrich and versatile attacker Grant-Leon Ranos will not receive new contracts with the Rhineland club.

With the contracts of the 29-year-old and 22-year-old set to expire, they can leave on free transfers no later than this summer.

It remains to be seen whether Oscar Fraulo will be offered another contract, while for Luca Netz a sale in January is now also conceivable.

This also applies to Friedrich and backup goalkeeper and captain Jonas Omlin whose deal runs until 2027.

The bosses will have a say in how each case will proceed, but it's unclear whether interim coach Eugen Polanski will continue after the international break.
