Bayern Munich moved a step closer to winning the Champions League with a 1-0 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night to advance to the semifinals on 3-2 aggregate.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Harry Kane expressed his delight at what he described as an "unbelievable win".
“Unbelievable win. It's been a tough season for us and we've had to fight and grind at times. Today was just that - we knew it was going to be a tough game but also that at home we could make the difference with our fans there,” said Kane.
“It was a great goal from Josh [Kimmich] to make the difference for us and then it's about defending and keeping the clean sheet. Making the semifinal is a great achievement for us, so we can enjoy this one,” added the England striker, who is well aware of the expectations at a club like Bayern.
“The expectation here is to win the Champions League, we have to enjoy this. It's going to be a tough game in the semi-final, whomever we play against.”
