Ozan Kabak looks likely to remain at TSG Hoffenheim beyond the summer, when his current contract expires.

Sky Germany reports that the Bundesliga club and the Turkish centre-back are in advanced negotiations over a contract extension running until 2029 or 2030.

A key part of the talks has reportedly been the inclusion of a release clause. According to the German outlet, Hoffenheim have agreed to include an exit clause in the contract, but its value and timing are still being negotiated.

Since returning from an cruciate ligament injury at the start of the season, Kabak has established himself as an important figure in Christian Ilzer’s side at the heart of defence.

In total, the 25-year-old has made 19 appearances and scored four goals this season.
