Speculation has been swirling around Julian Brandt’s future at Borussia Dortmund, with reports suggesting he could be sold this summer, one year before his contract expires.

But the 29-year-old has made it clear he’s not planning to leave Signal Iduna Park anytime soon.

“At the moment, I don’t have any other plans,” Brandt told Sky Germany.

He addressed the ongoing transfer rumors with humility, but firmly reiterated his loyalty to the club.

“The fact that there are rumors from time to time - I find it flattering. Even the one about Bremen - I saw that too. It’s a nice feeling to be linked with your hometown club.

“But I carry this club (Borussia Dortmund) in my heart. I like the team I play with, and I have a good relationship with the coach.”

Brandt has been in excellent form lately, contributing two goals and three assists in his last three appearances for BVB.
