The Ukrainian defender is expected to arrive in Bochum late tonight to complete his move to the Bundesliga club, with a loan deal looking more likely than a permanent transfer.
In any case, Ordets is unlikely to continue his career in Moscow following Russia's attack on his home country, Ukraine.
The 30-year-old could help fill the void left by the departures of Armel Bella-Kotchap and Maxim Leitsch, who have signed for Southampton and Mainz, respectively.
