Bundesliga team of the week – Matchday 16

We have included three Fortuna Düsseldorf players in our team of the week after their impressive 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Matchday 16 – Bundesliga team of the week (4-1-3-2):

Goalkeeper: Yann Sommer, Borussia Mönchengladbach (4)
The Swiss international has been in great form this season and had another good day at the office in the 2-0 win over FC Nürnberg. His early save to keep out an attempt from Adam Zrelak was particularly outstanding.

Right-back: Theodor Gebre Selassie, Werder Bremen
Gebre Selassie was among Werder's biggest offensive threats and scored the equaliser in his team's 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim.

Centre-back: Aleksandar Dragovic, Bayer Leverkusen
Put in a convincing performance in the 2-1 win over Schalke 04. Won 75 percent of his duels and scored the 1-0 goal.

Centre-back: Marcel Kaminski, Fortuna Düsseldorf
Dortmund struggled to create chances against a compact Düsseldorf side, and Marcel Kaminski deserves credit for his rock solid performance in the central defence.

Left-back: Ludwig Augustinsson, Werder Bremen
Delivered a strong performance against Hoffenheim - defensively as well as offensively. Set up Gebre Selassie's equaliser with a great cross to the back post.

Defensive midfielder: Josuha Guilavogui, Wolfsburg
The Wolfsburg captain has made a strong return from injury and showed his importance in the 2-0 win over Stuttgart. Worked tirelessly and scored the first goal.

Right midfielder: Jean Zimmer, Fortuna Düsseldorf
Scored a screamer in the 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund. Worked hard throughout the whole match.

Offensive midfielder: Kevin Stöger, Fortuna Düsseldorf
Really shined in Fortuna Düsseldorf's 2-1 win over Dortmund. Set up Dodi Lukebakio's opener with a wonderful pass in behind the BVB defence.

Left midfielder: Nico Schulz, Hoffenheim
The wing-back has played at a consistently high level this season and once again impressed with his energetic raids up the left-hand side in the 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen. Did very well to assist Leonardo Bittencourt's opener.

Striker: Robin Quaison, Mainz
The Swede grabbed two well-taken goals in the 2-2 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Striker: Luka Jovic, Frankfurt (4)
Unfortunately for Quaison and Mainz, Luka Jovic was equally clinical at the other end. After netting a brace, the Serbian international has now scored 12 league goals which makes him the Bundesliga's top scorer along with Paco Alcacer.
