Report: Frankfurt and Glasner to part ways this summer
Bild reports that Oliver Glasner's departure from Eintracht Frankfurt is now a certainty.
According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt will part ways with head coach Oliver Glasner at the end of the season.
The German tabloid claims it has been decided that Glasner will leave his post after Eintracht's DFB-Pokal final against RB Leipzig on June 3.
Glasner's job has been in doubt for some time due to a slump in form and a strained relationship with his superiors.
His red card in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Hoffenheim and subsequent outburst at the post-match press conference was apparently the final straw.
Former Bayern Munich assistant coach Dino Toppmöller has been touted as Glasner's replacement, while RB Salzburg coach Matthias Jaissle is also said to be a candidate.
Glasner has spent the last two years at Eintracht Frankfurt, leading the club to the Europa League trophy last season.
