Tuchel won't "rotate just for the sake of rotation" against Bochum

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has shared his thoughts on the possibility of resting some of his players in tomorrow's Bundesliga match against Bochum.
After Tuesday's 4-3 win over Manchester United, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has discussed the possibility of rotating his squad for Saturday's home game against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga.

"There is always the idea of rotation. We'll have to see who's ready. The feedback yesterday was very positive, everyone came out of the last game well. I think we have all the players available. We will not rotate for the sake of rotating," Tuchel told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

"We need to respect the opponent. Bochum are on a good run with three games without defeat. They have a very intense style of play. We need to find the best formation for this game. Bochum is not a game where we just do our own thing and it will take care of itself. We have to be ready and keep up physically; there will be a lot of sprinting and tackling.

As for Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt, two players who have been on the bench recently, Tuchel said:

"'Nous' has to fight, fight, fight, be there when the opportunity comes and stay positive. Konrad Laimer is ahead at the moment, but we don't need to talk about his talent or his understanding of the game, he's absolutely top.

"Matthijs deserves to play 100 percent. He's in good shape. Of course he's not getting the playing time he wants, but he's a team player. Everyone has to be ready at all times. That's the case with Matthijs, so everything is good."
