Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilón Rodríguez during the coming January transfer window. The former Real Madrid academy man - currently on loan at at Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur - hasn't garnered much playing time for the Red Devils this season. The 27-year-old has only played the full 90 minutes under head-coach Erik ten Hag thrice in 10 appearances across all competitions.

The six-times-capped Spanish international recently saw his estimated market worth downgraded from €20 million to €12 million in the latest transfermarkt update. A rescinding of the current loan deal seems plausible. Dortmund themselves will be looking for a replacement for Algerian international Ramy Bensebaini next month as he will be on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations. Bensebaini also hasn't quite lived up to expectations since joining from Gladbach this summer.
