Report: Bremen target Bulut as Weiser replacement

Online Turkish sports news portal "NTV Spor" reports that SV Werder Bremen are eyeing Werdohl-native Onur Bulut as a potential replacement for Mitchell Weiser.
With his expiring contract looking increasingly unlikely to be renewed, SV Werder Bremen are reportedly beginning to contemplate life after talismanic right wingback Mitchell Weiser. According to one Turkish source, the Hanseaten are considering bringing Westphalian native Onur Bulut back to the Bundesrepublik as Weiser's replacement. Bulut has pumped his estimated market worth up to €3.8 million amid playing for various Turkish clubs in the last five seasons.

Bulut can play just about any midfield position, but is known to excel in Weir's slot. The Werdohl-native also has extensive experience in German football, playing for SC Freiburg and Eintracht Braunschweig after coming up through the VfL Bochum youth academy ranks. Once suspended during Torsten Lieberknecht's head-coaching regime, the 29-year-old has revitalized his career since moving to Turkey in 2019. He's featured in almost every game this season for Beşiktaş.

Turkish online footballing news portal "NTV Spor" reports that Bremen are set for talks with the Istanbul-based club. Bulut, the report further claims, would like to move back to his native country. He's featured in almost every game this season for Beşiktaş, scoring once and registering two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for the "Black Eagles".
