Official: HSV extends contract with Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit

The Norwegian youngster has extended his contract however the terms of the extension have not been made public.

Having only joined the club in February 2025, Alexander Rössing-Lelesiit has extended his contract with Hamburger SV. 

The 18-year-old made further positive progress in recent months with the first team, his contract has been extended ahead of schedule.

Rössing-Lelesiit is currently recovering from a torn muscle fiber and is rehabbing in his native Norway over the Christmas holidays.

Since arriving from Lillestrøm SK, he has made eight appearances in the Bundesliga, two in the 2. Bundesliga, and three in the DFB Cup.

"Despite his young age, Alex has integrated very well with us and has shown steady progress. He fully identifies with our club.

"We will give him the necessary time to take the next steps together – and he will bring us a lot of joy," said board member Stefan Kuntz

The exact length of Rössing-Lelesiit's new deal with the Hanseatic club have been kept confidential as it stands.
