Wanner will miss Bayern’s start to the season
Paul Wanner suffered a minor injury in the friendly win over Tottenham Hotspur.

The 4-0 victory against Europa League winners Tottenham Hotspur was a huge success for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians also extended Lennart Karl and Wisdom Mike’s contracts the day after the match.
However, there is now a minor setback in the aftermath of Thursday’s game. Bayern confirmed Paul Wanner will be sidelined due to an ankle injury. The club didn’t specify the period he’ll be out of action, but reports mentioned a minimum of two weeks absence.
Bayern will start their season next week facing VfB Stuttgart in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup before the Bundesliga opener at home against RB Leipzig.
