Confirmed Lineups: Germany U21 vs. Italy U21

Here are the lineups for the last quarter-final duel of the U21 Euros.

Germany completely changed their starting XI for the game against England after they had already secured their spot in the knockout stages. Antonio Di Salvo now reverts to his best XI for the key quarter-final clash.

Italy’s newly-appointed coach Gennaro Gattuso and team coordinator Gianluigi Buffon joined the team in Slovakia to show support for the U21 team. Carmine Nunziata keeps his 3-4-1-2 formation from the draw with Spain.

England and the Netherlands progressed to the semi-final yesterday, and France joined them after ex-Bayern striker Mathys Tel’s winner against Denmark in today’s first quarter-final. The winner of this tie will face France in the semis.
