Timo Horn speaks on Köln future

Timo Horn is not ruling out a move away from FC Köln, but says he expects to stay beyond the summer.
Timo Horn "firmly assumes" that he will stay at FC Köln despite slipping down the pecking order.

The 29-year-old, who lost his starting place to Marvin Schwäbe last season, told Kicker:

"At the moment, I'm firmly assuming that I'll stay at Köln and perform as well as possible.

"At the same time, a transfer is not excluded. But I'll let it all come to me. I'm relaxed about it all."

Asked where he sees himself in half a year, Horn replied:

"Very good question. It's really hard to say. But as of now, I'm clearly assuming that I'll be at Köln."

Horn's contract expires in 2023.
