Fabrizio Romano reports that FC Bayern München have held talks with Senegalese winger Sadio Mané in order to sort through the 31-year-old's difficult first season and come up with a roadmap for the future. Romano claims that, after said talks, Mané's sale this summer is not a forgone conclusion. After a disappointing year sportingly and personally, both sides may be willing to turn over a new leaf.

Mané has scored 11 goals and chipped in a further seven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for the Bavarians. A sale this summer seemed a certainty after Mané's much-publicized locker-room altercation with teammate Leroy Sané. Romano nevertheless reports that a solid re4lationship with new FCB trainer Thomas Tuchel, who did come to Mané's defense, might persuade the player to stay.
