Achraf Hakimi is considering staying at Borussia Dortmund beyond 2020 when his loan deal expires.

The Real Madrid loanee has shined in Dortmund since coming in on a two-year loan deal, and he feels well in Germany, his agent says.

"It's no secret that he feels totally comfortable in Dortmund. He can imagine staying longer at Dortmund," Hakimi's agent, Martin Camano, told Bild and added:

"Achraf is very grateful to the BVB for giving him the chance to develop."

However, the decision is not only up to Hakimi. Real Madrid are likely to want the 20-year-old back when the loan deal expires, and Dortmund are aware it will be hard to hold on to him.

"At the moment, we have to expect that Achraf will return to Real Madrid at the end of the loan deal," BVB sporting director Michael Zorc said.

Hakimi has played 19 games for Dortmund so far, scoring twice and making seven assists.
