Leverkusen lose out in Kean race, per Sky

Bayer Leverkusen have apparently come too late in showing interest in Moise Kean, with the Juventus forward now close to joining Atletico Madrid.

Bayer Leverkusen have been linked with a move for Juventus' Moise Kean in recent days.

However, according to Sky Germany, it's now clear that the 23-year-old will not be coming to the BayArena.

The report claims that the Bundesliga leaders have been informed that Kean is set to join Atletico Madrid.

As a result, Leverkusen are now expected to turn their attention to working out a deal for Real Betis forward Borja Iglesias, as they look to bring in a replacement for the long-term injured Victor Boniface before the transfer window closes.

Habib Diallo, who plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Shabab, is also said to be a candidate.
