Kevin Vogt believes that joining Hoffenheim has been the 'best and most important' decision in his career.

The 28-year-old is delighted with how his career has developed since he made the move to Hoffenheim from Köln in 2016.

"I'm very happy with how positively things have unfolded. Today I can say that my move to TSG has been the best and most important step in my career. I quickly found my feet here," Vogt said in an interview on Hoffenheim's website and added:

"I hope that the past three years have been more positive than negative for the fans."

Vogt was named captain of the club in the summer of 2018.
