Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre's calm nature can both be an advantage and a disadvantage, says Nico Schulz.

Favre has never been the most vocal coach, and Schulz, who also played under the 61-year-old at Hertha BSC and Gladbach, believes BVB's young team are benefiting from the 56-year-old's 'objective' approach.

"I know him from my time in Berlin, when I was very young, and from Gladbach as well. He always tries to stay objective and doesn't get too emotional," Schulz told Sport1 and added:

"That has its advantages and disadvantages. For this team, it's a good thing that he always stays objective. We know what he wants from us and what we have to do better.

Schulz could return to Dortmund's squad for Saturday's game against Gladbach after recovering from a foot injury.
