Official: Yarmolenko leaves Dortmund

Andriy Yarmolenko has left Borussia Dortmund to join West Ham.
Borussia Dortmund have announced that Andriy Yarmolenko has left the club to join West Ham United in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old says goodbye to Dortmund after just one season at the Westfalenstadion. He has signed a four-year deal, and according to Sky Sports the transfer fee is €20 million.

"We thank Andriy for his commitment and wish him and his family all the best for the future," Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said.

Yarmolenko is excited about his opportunity to play in the Premier League.

"West Ham is a big club with good fans and I am happy to come to play in the Premier League," Yarmolenko said following his move and added:

"The Premier League is the best league in the world and I know that an interesting project is being built here at West Ham. The team wants to achieve high things and I am excited for this challenge."

Yarmolenko made 26 appearances for Dortmund with six goals and six assists to his name.
