Andre Schürrle to go back to Dortmund at the end of the season

Spartak Moscow have confirmed that they will not be turning André Schürrle's loan deal into a permanent one.
André Schürrle will be heading back to Borussia Dortmund when his loan spell at Spartak Moscow is over at the end of the season.

The Russian club will not be triggering the €7 million purchase option in the 29-year-old's loan deal.

"We have agreed with André not to active the contractually agreed purchase option. But André is an outstanding footballer, who has enriched our young team with his experience," Spartak sporting director Thomas Zorn told Bild.

Schürrle's contract with Dortmund expires next year. The winger doesn't seem to have a future at Dortmund, so he will probably be looking for a new employer this summer.
