Stuttgart confirm Chase departure

After three years with VfB Stuttgart, 21-year-old centre-back Anrie Chase is making a permanent move to Austria, joining RB Salzburg with immediate effect.
The German Bundesliga club confirmed the transfer on Friday, highlighting Chase’s rapid development through their ranks.
“Anrie’s path with us certainly was impressive, moving up from the youth ranks to play in the DFB Cup, the Bundesliga and the Champions League,” said Stuttgart board member for sport Fabian Wohlgemuth.
“He earned the progress he made by working really hard and being keen to learn. We would like to thank him for the time he spent with us and wish him all the very best and every success for the future.”
Chase made his senior breakthrough last season, featuring in 20 matches across all competitions.
