With Bayern Munich set to complete the signing of Luis Díaz from Liverpool, they’ll soon be able to check off one of their top two transfer priorities and turn their full attention to the other: Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.

The Bavarians are under growing time pressure to get a deal done for the German international.

According to Sport Bild, Stuttgart are considering setting a deadline for the transfer - possibly around the time the two sides meet in the DFL-Supercup on August 16.

If a deal is to be reached, Stuttgart don’t want to wait much longer, as they’ll need time to bring in a replacement before the transfer window closes.

However, whether the two clubs will even reach an agreement remains uncertain.

Stuttgart are said to have already rejected two offers from Bayern, with the latest bid amounting to €55 million.

Reports indicate the Bavarians would need to raise their offer by another €10 million just to bring Stuttgart to the negotiating table.
