After returning from a loan spell at Heidenheim, Paul Wanner has been widely tipped for another temporary move, with Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart, and Borussia Mönchengladbach among the clubs he has been linked with.

However, Kicker now reports that Bayern Munich currently look set to keep the 19-year-old attacking midfielder at the club.

With Jamal Musiala sidelined due to a long-term injury, Wanner is expected to get his chance during pre-season and could help fill the gap left by the German international.

Kicker reports that Bayern are therefore not currently considering sending him out on loan.

Last season, the young attacking midfielder scored six goals and provided four assists in 41 appearances across all competitions for Heidenheim.
