When Jesper Lindstrøm joined Napoli for a reported €30 million fee, the club were Scudetto winners. The Naples club repeated that success last term, but the Danish dynamite had nothing to do with it.

Since leaving Eintracht Frankfurt, Lindstrøm hasn’t even scored a goal for two seasons. His playing time was limited in Serie A before facing similar issues on loan at Everton in the 2024/25 campaign.

Sky now reports that Wolfsburg are interested in bringing back the attacking midfielder to the Bundesliga. He scored 28 goals in all competitions during his two-year spell with Frankfurt. The 25-year-old has a contract with Napoli that will run until 2028.
