1. FC Köln have signed Norwegian right-back Sebastian Sebulonsen from Danish outfit Brøndby IF.

The newly promoted Bundesliga club announced the deal on Friday, confirming that the 25-year-old has signed a contract running until 2028.

“We’re very pleased to have now filled the right-back position with Sebastian,” said 1. FC Köln sporting director Thomas Kessler.

“He brings a strong athletic profile, meets our requirements for a physically robust and versatile player, and adds to our options within the squad. His qualities and development potential make him a valuable addition to our team.”

Sebulonsen, 25, added that he's “very happy” to have signed for Köln.

“My teammates who’ve played in Germany had only good things to say about FC Köln. That’s why I can’t wait to wear the FC shirt for the first time and play at the RheinEnergieSTADION. I want to help the club achieve its goals and contribute as best I can with my playing style," he said.
