Despite playing for midtable club Bournemouth, Dean Huijsen has been one of the star performers in the Premier League this season. Furthermore, the widely reported release clause of €58 million has many clubs entering the race for a summer signing.

While Liverpool and Chelsea went further with their plans, Bayern also now held concrete talks with the player’s management. According to Sky, Max Eberl is fully informed about the details of a potential move for the Spanish international.

However, Bayern will only consider the switch in case of a summer departure by Kim Min-jae, who is now courted by Huijsen’s former club, Juventus. Meanwhile, PSG are expected to knock on Bayern’s door for Dayot Upamecano.

Huijsen scored two goals in 27 league appearances this season. Sky also report Bayern are exploring signing Jonathan Tah as a free agent after they seemed to give up on the defender not so long ago.
