According to the Hamburger Abendblatt, Hamburger SV has recently entered the race for BK Häcken talent Silas Andersen

Andersen is a Danish U-21 international and is still under contract with the Swedish outfit until the summer of 2029.

This gives Häcken a strong negotiating position, despite the Abendblatt newspaper suggests a transfer fee of €5-6million.

However, 1. FC Köln already offered €4million for Andersen in the winter, but were met with an exorbitant counter-offer of €7million.

It is now expected that a bidding war initiated by the Bundesliga clubs could potentially drive the midfielder's price even higher.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Rangers of Scotland and Denmark's FC Copenhagen have also previously expressed interest in Andersen.
