Juranovic to be out for the rest of the year?

Bild reports that Josip Juranovic's injury could keep him sidelined for the rest of 2024.

Josip Juranovic has missed all of Union Berlin's matches this season due to an ankle injury. And he won't be back anytime soon.

In the worst case scenario, the right-back could remain sidelined for the rest of the year, according to Bild.

Juranovic underwent surgery in mid-August, and the Bundesliga club didn't put a timeframe on his recovery.

The Croatian international is dependent on crutches and a special shoe and is currently working on his comeback on an anti-gravity treadmill, according to the report.

With Juranović sidelined, captain Christopher Trimmel and Janik Haberer, who has started every Bundesliga match so far, are battling it out for the right wing-back spot.
