Reports: Dortmund keen to take Man United attacker on loan
England's TalkSport and two additional sources report that Dortmund are among the candidates seeking to procure Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga on loan for the rest of the season.
After signing a new fullback yesterday, some sources now report that Borussia Dortmund have a player in mind to help shore up the attack. Swedish winger Anthony Elanga may need a new loan destination after seeing his minutes reduced for Manchester United. Competition for the services of the €25-million-valued attacker is obviously fierce. England's TalkSport reports that several Premiership clubs are also in the race.
Germany's "Ruhrnachrichten" and Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano affirm the report. The nine-times-capped international ordinarily serves on the left flank, but can play most anywhere on the forward line. This would render Elanga an excellent fit for the rotating cast of characters deployed up front by BVB trainer Edin Terzic. The 20-year-old played regularly under the Man U coaching regime of Germany's Ralf Rangnick before falling out of favor with Eric ten Hag.
