Bayern president Herbert Hainer: Kane would be good for us and the Bundesliga

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer says Harry Kane is an "attractive player", who would "be good for Bayern and the Bundesliga."

Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has added fuel to the speculation linking Tottenham striker Harry Kane to the German champions.

"I don't think the Bundesliga has so many international stars anymore. That influences to the way the Bundesliga is marketed internationally. FC Bayern are always trying to bring in international stars to make us and the Bundesliga better," Hainer is quoted as saying by Kicker.

"Harry Kane is definitely a very attractive player, captain and top scorer of the English national team, top scorer. He would be good for Bayern and the Bundesliga."

Bayern supervisory board member Uli Hoeness was even more outspoken about Kane earlier this month, telling German media:

"Harry Kane has made it very clear in all the talks that he has made up his mind. If it stays this way, we'll get him. Then Tottenham will have to give in."
