Report: Tottenham on the verge of signing van de Ven for around €50 million
Tottenham and Wolfsburg are reportedly on the verge of agreeing a deal worth 50 million that would see Micky van de Ven move to England.
Tottenham are close to agreeing a deal to sign Micky van de Ven from VfL Wolfsburg, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
According to the report, the two clubs are close to agreeing on a fee in the region of €50 million, including add-ons.
Once Spurs receive the final green light from Wolfsburg, the 22-year-old centre-back will fly to England to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract with Tottenham, it is claimed.
Wolfsburg paid a reported 3.5 million fee to bring van de Ven to Germany from FC Volendam in 2021.
