Gerardo Seoane is at risk of losing his job at Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to the latest report from Sport BILD.

The popular tabloid predicts that the outcome of next Sunday's Rhinederby against Bayer Leverkusen could be the deciding factor.

Both worrying statistics across multiple games coupled with their disastrous 4-0 defeat to Werder Bremen, has created a tense situation.

Die Fohlen are now winless in ten Bundesliga matches since late March last season, and haven't scored a goal in four consecutive games.

Following the defeat to Bremen, sporting director Roland Virkus revealed to DAZN that discussions must be had regarding their poor form.

“After such a disappointment, you have to sleep on it and look at it. I can't say anything about it now. It's certainly true that we will and must talk about it – and then we'll move on," he said.

Seoane, who was appointed as Gladbach coach in June 2023, has taken the club to 14th and 10th-place finishes during his two seasons in charge of the Rhineland club.
