Bayern to include Nübel in Woltemade deal with Stuttgart?

Kicker has suggested that Bayern Munich may attempt to include Alexander Nübel in their bid to sign Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart.

With talks between Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart over a transfer for Nick Woltemade at a standstill due to a reported €30 million gap in their valuation, the German champions may explore alternative ways to make the deal happen.

According to Kicker, Bayern could try to include goalkeeper Alexander Nübel currently on loan at Stuttgart as part of the agreement.

However, the German magazine also highlights that the 28-year-old’s hefty salary, reportedly around €11 million per year, might be an obstacle too large to overcome.

The report states that Stuttgart currently cover approximately €3.5 million of Nübel’s wages during his loan spell, which began in 2023.

As things stand, Nübel is expected to return to Bayern in 2026. At that time, Stuttgart may choose to promote 19-year-old Dennis Seimen currently on loan at Paderborn to the No. 1 goalkeeper position.

It has also been suggested that Bayern could include 19-year-old Paul Wanner in the deal to sign Woltemade.
