Enjoying a fine loan spell at promotion-chasing Southampton, Bayern Munich's Daniel Peretz is uncertain about his future with the Bavarians.
“I don't know yet. Right now, I'm enjoying playing every game," the 25-year-old explained, in an interview with Sport BILD.
Then we'll see what the future holds. I have complete faith that God will lead me to the place that's best for me.
If that ends up being Bayern, I'd be incredibly happy. If not, then so be it. But no matter what happens – it will be for my good," he added.
Regardless, the Israeli goalkeeper claimed is still “a huge Bayern fan” and keeps touch with members of Vincent Kompany's squad.
"I like the team; for me, they're the best in the world. I really enjoy watching them play. Plus, I have friends there.
"I'm especially in contact with Manuel Neuer. He's a great guy, very humble. From the very first second I was at Bayern, he helped me.
"And he's not just any goalkeeper, he's the best of all time. We're in regular contact, we text each other after the games.
“He congratulates me on good performances,” Peretz said, who has kept 7 clean sheets in 18 appearances in the EFL Championship so far.
