Victor Boniface and Martin Terrier have been punished by the German Football Association following Bayer Leverkusen's Supercup final win over VfB Stuttgart.
Boniface has been suspended for one DFB-Pokal match and fined €25,000 for unsporting behavior after the game.
Video footage showed the Nigerian striker giving the middle finger to the Stuttgart bench after Leverkusen won the penalty shootout.
Terrier, meanwhile, has been suspended for the next two DFB-Pokal games after receiving a straight red card in the first half.
Both Boniface and Terrier will therefore be available when the German champions kick off the new Bundesliga season against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday.
