According to FußballTransfers.com, Hertha BSC can almost sense the imminent return of Kennet Eichhorn from the sidelines.

The highly-rated 16-year-old took part in team training with the 2.Bundesliga side for the first time today, Monday 30 March.

Prior to his return, the midfielder had been ruled out of acion for around 10 weeks with a serious and untimely ankle injury.

Eichhorn's comeback will likely be followed by numerous clubs, who are rumored to be tasked with luring him away from Hertha this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt is among those in the running for Eichhorn, with some rumours stating Bayern Munich has withdrawn from the race.

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen duo Simon Rolfes and Kim Falkenberg flew to Berlin last week to hold discussions with Eichhorn's agent.
