Leverkusen to demand Tah fee from Bayern ahead of Club World Cup

According to reports from Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen are demanding a fee from Bayern München for Jonathan Tah if they want the centre-back ahead of the Club World Cup.

Kicker suggests that the asking price would remain in the lower to mid-million range.

And Leverkusen's stance remains clear: they do not want to let the champions get anything for free. Die Werkself are against contributing towards Bayern becoming even stronger financially than they already are as a result of success in the Club World Cup, with the winners set to receive 125 million US Dollars, which works out at almost 110 million Euros.

Tah's contract with Leverkusen officially expires at the end of June; however, should he play for Bayern München at the Club World Cup, he will have to be registered in the mini transfer window ahead of the competition running from June 1-10.
