Kicker Report: Stuttgart zero-in on young Colombian striker
Georgios Vavritsas and George Moissidis of German footballing magazine Kicker report that VfB Stuttgart are eyeing up 22-year-old Colombian striker Juan José Perea of the Greek Super League.
The search for some additional attacking assistance at VfB Stuttgart is reportedly leading to Konstantinos Mavropanos' former club. According to two journalists at German football magazine Kicker, Juan José Perea of PAS Ioannina is on the Swabian shortlist.
The 22-year-old Bogota native has played his entire professional career in Greece after making the jump from the FC Porto youth academy. Perea scored 16 goals and chipped in six assists across all competitions for three Greek league clubs. He scored ten goals in 32 league games last year.
Presently valued at around €1.2 million in the latests transfermarkt listings, Georgios Vavritsas and George Moissidis of German footballing magazine Kicker speculate that it will cost Stuttgart a little over €2 million to bring the forward to Württemberg. Perea played under German trainer Iraklis Metaxas at PAS Ioannina last season.
