Müller: "It's always nice to see Lewy again"

Bayern were more than pleased following another victory against Barcelona and Robert Lewandowski to continue their hot play in the Champions League.

Robert Lewandowski came into Bayern's dressing room after the match, saying hello to his former teammates. It's a disappointing result for the star striker, who's off to the Europa League in his first year away from the record champions.

Speaking with Sport Bild, Thomas Müller said, "It's always nice to see Lewy again. But, of course you sympathize with him when you know what an ambitious player he is."

Man of the Match Matthijs de Ligt added that, "It was very difficult. For me (Lewandowski) is the best striker in the world, you always have to be awake against him. He plays very intelligently. But together, we made sure he didn't score tonight."

Bayern face Mainz on the weekend before rounding out Champions League group play against Inter Milan on Tuesday.
