Hoffenheim's Dabbur heads to Dubai

Hoffenheim attacker Munus Dabbur's transfer to Dubai's Shabab Al-Ahli Club was officially confirmed yesterday.
After four seasons in German football, Israeli striker Munus Dabbur is headed to the Arabian Peninsula. The 31-year-old's transfer to Dubai-based club Shabab Al-Ahli club was confirmed yesterday. The now former Hoffenheim attacker collected 29 goals for die Kraichgauer in 99 appearances across all competitions since joining the TASG from FC Sevilla in the January 2020 transfer window.

Dabbur cost the Sinsheimers €12 million three-and-a-half years ago. Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that the Sinsheimers have pocketed a "modest" transfer fee in the €1-3 million range for their player. The base transfer fee is said to be small with more lucrative performance-based bonuses built in.

"Munas' time at TSG was marked by highs and lows," TSG manager Alexander Rosen remarked in a statement confirming the departure, "He has had to deal with serious injuries on several occasions, some of which have put him out of action for long periods. Nevertheless, he proved his scoring prowess time and again."
