FC Bayern's Harry Kane captains England in their World Cup quarter-final clash against Erling Haaland's Norway. The two strikers are in the stunning race for the Golden Boot alongside frontrunners Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.

Haaland's former teammate at Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham, is also enjoying a brilliant campaign for England. On the contrary, Bayer Leverkusen’s Jarell Quansah is unavailable as he was handed a two-game suspension for his red card in England's hard-fought win over co-hosts Mexico.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson maintains his place in the starting lineup after making his return from injury in the sensational victory over five-time winners Brazil. Andreas Schjelderup gets the nod after his excellent second-half performance against Brazil, which leaves RB Leipzig's Antonio Nusa on the substitute bench. However, ex-Leipzig duo Orjan Nyland and Alexander Sørloth are both in the starting lineup.

In addition, both teams are led by former Bundesliga coaches. Ståle Solbakken had an unsuccessful spell at Köln back in 2011-12 season, in which the club ended up getting relegated after the former midfielder was relieved of his duties with four games to spare.

The German Thomas Tuchel had a successful and long Bundesliga managerial career with Mainz, Dortmund and Bayern. The 52-year-old is hoping to become the first foreign coach to win the World Cup.
