Bayern make initial contract offer to Musiala, report claims

Bayern Munich have reportedly offered a contract extension to Jamal Musiala.

As Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently emphasized, the Bavarians are determined to keep hold of Jamal Musiala for the long term.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern have already approached the 21-year-old with an initial contract offer, with loose talks about an extension beyond 2026 said to have taken place.

However, despite the efforts of the Bayern bosses, an extension is not likely to be agreed overnight.

Bayern are said to be prepared to offer Musiala "really important money" to convince him to stay, with the club hoping to agree a new long-term deal with the youngster before the summer of 2025 to avoid the player entering the final year of his contract.

All other top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester City, are monitoring Musiala's situation and are ready to make a move if the Bavarians can't reach an agreement with him.
