After seemingly losing out to Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Sunderland starlet Jobe Bellingham, Eintracht Frankfurt could now step up their interest in FC Copenhagen midfielder Victor Froholdt.

The 19-year-old, however, says he's not paying much attention to the growing speculation.

"To be honest, I haven’t given it a single thought," Froholdt told Viaplay Sport News.

"There’s always a lot written in the media – including things that aren’t true – because everyone loves transfer rumours. I do too, when I read that this or that club wants a certain player.

"But it’s not something I focus on. My attention is on what I need to do on the pitch, and I’ll deal with everything else when the time comes."

Froholdt is under contract with FC Copenhagen until 2028.
