Eintracht open talks to sign Kristensen permanently, report claims

Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly opened talks with Leeds United to sign Rasmus Nissen Kristensen on a permanent deal.

Rasmus Nissen Kristensen has become an instant hit at Eintracht Frankfurt after joining on loan from Leeds United in the summer.

The Denmark international seems to have adapted quickly to his new surroundings and has started all four of Eintracht's games so far this season.

According to Fussball.news, Eintracht are so impressed with Kristensen's performances that they have opened talks to make his loan from Leeds permanent.

There is a reported 13 million purchase option in the deal, but the Bundesliga outfit are reportedly hoping to negotiate the price down for Kristensen.

Eintracht coach Dino Toppmöller recently expressed his willingness to keep Kristensen in his squad beyond the end of the season.

"[Eintracht board member for sport] Markus Krösche has already recognized that. He's already on it and doesn't need my expertise. He also sees that Rasmus is a very important factor for us.

"Despite his stomach problems, he fought through and played very solid. With his energy and power, Rasmus is very important for us," Toppmöller said after Eintracht's 2-0 win over Gladbach at the weekend.
